Trainee Air Cargo Broker / Sales Executive - Extensive Training and International Travel - $25,000 basic; OTE $35,000 – Realistic £70,000 Second year OTE –
We are recruiting 10 Graduate trainees (5 for Cargo and 5 for Passenger) for this excellent opportunity to join the sales team of one of Europe’s fastest growing and most profitable Air Cargo Brokers.

You’ll be working in a team of four with another trainee and 2 experienced brokers as you learn this market and build your business. You’ll benefit from extensive on the job and professional training working with clients around the world. In this role you will be working with and developing existing

Required skills:
r You will be educated to degree level for the Cargo role, this is not required for the Passenger role
r Have 1-2 years commercial experience
r An interest in the aviation industry
r A solid work ethic
r Combined with a passion for sales

Desirable skills:
r A second European language
r Experience in the aviation market is preferred but not essential
r Business to business sales experience
r A relevant aviation, business on languages degree
r Driving licence

Year One

During the first 4 months you will spend part of your time at airports and on flights as you develop an in-depth understanding of aircraft type, loads, loading facilities and routes. This time will be spent developing you technical knowledge and will ensure that when you move into the Broker position and begin running your own desk you will have the necessary knowledge to provide a truly consultative service to your clients.

After 4 months you will be promoted into the position of Broker you will need to have developed a comprehensive knowledge of the air charter industry so that you can converse at a strategic level with senior business decision makers.

You will begin running your own broker desk managing existing accounts as well as targeting and recruiting new clients. After 6 months you will be earning commission with expected earnings for the 1st year of £35k, which is uncapped. In your 2nd year you should expect to earn an extra £1,000 per month which on your increased basic salary equates to $40,000 on target.
